On 10 December 2011 at the Birmingham Buddhist Centre Sangharakshita launched his new book 'Dear Dinoo - Letters to a Friend'.
The book is a fascinating compilation of Sangharakshita's letters to his friend Dinoo Dubash and cover a wide range of subjects as well as offering glimpses into a special friendship.
In the talk, after an introduction to his friend Dinoo and her cultural experience of life as a Parsi in Bombay, he explains why he chose to share a number of their letters and continues with a fascinating exploration of the place of letters from ancient times onwards.
